Today I made the trip about 15 minutes south of Sudbury to photograph this serene lakefront recreational property situated on Elbow Lake in Estaire, ON .For this shoot I took conventional listing photos, created a Matterport 3D scan (Digital Twin) of the main building, and got to use my new drone commercially for the first time, to capture some aerial photographs of the property. Today I dropped by the 2020 Sudbury Pond Hockey Festival on the Rock which took place on the frozen waters of Ramsey Lake off the shores of the Northern Water Sports Centre near Science North. It was a perfect day for pond hockey and for all the other activities the festival organizers had running.Below are a few of the photos I took during my brief visit, including some cool shots taken with my 360 camera. I spent the entire day today at the Sudbury Arena to photograph the action on day one of the inaugural Sudbury Five Invitational High School Basketball Tournament. There were boys teams from all over northern Ontario represented here. Some of the schools participating included from Sudbury, The LoEllen Park Knights, Lasalle Lancers, Lockerby Vikings and College Notre Dame Alouettes. This weekend I took my 360 camera out into the community to have a little fun with it at a couple of Sudbury's landmarks. I hit up the Big Nickel at Dynamic Earth and the Vale Superstack in Copper Cliff.The 360° field of view in these cameras allow it to capture an entire scene in ALL directions. Later, once these spherical panorama images are transferred to a computer or smartphone, they can be manipulated in some pretty creative ways.
