My Creative Sports Portrait sessions are intended for individual players of the Greater Sudbury area, 9 years of age and older, and will take place at the Northern Hockey Academy on Kelly Lake Road (for hockey/ringette). For other sports (like soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, etc.) please contact me directly to discuss further as an appropriate venue will need to be secured. Sessions are booked on set dates, a couple of times per month, based on the demand. Currently planned session dates/times can be seen on the booking page when you click the Book Now button below. A similar type of session, but scaled back a bit, is also available for teams but is booked through my Teams and Individuals page.
The 1 hour ice time will be shared with up to 8 players. The players will be posed using a variety of dramatic lighting, atmospheric fog, special photography effects, colored lights and dynamic shooting angles. All players will take turns going through one setup with a few of poses each, before the advancing to the next set up. For this reason, players are expected to be available for the entire 1 hour ice time. The photographer will suggest poses during each setup, but the players are encouraged to try any poses they like. This session is meant to be fun and flexible so the use of player-provided props is also encouraged. These props can include things like hats, chains, medals, sunglasses, stuffed animals, championship belts, etc.
The normal cost for this session is $125 +HST per person and is payable at the time of booking. This price includes retouched, high and low resolution digital downloads of all usable images captured during the session (approx. 12 images per player). These will be shared privately with each parent via a Google Drive link sent by email within 5 days of the session. I will also make the images available for viewing online in case parents/family would like to order prints and other products that I offer. See the promo video below.
